USAID is facilitating quality access to Technical and Vocational Educational Training -TVET in Lebanon’s North, South, and Beqaa in three promising sectors for growth and employment: home-based health care, industrial repair and maintenance, and information & communication technology -ICT. Through CSP, USAID has so far awarded 190 scholarships to students. The program is also partnering with 10 private TVET institutions and designing new curricula relevant to these sectors; as well as partnering with small and medium enterprises with demonstrated growth potential who are interested in providing internship and job opportunities to scholarship recipients.
